- Avast Antivirus & Spyware - Avast is a FREE to use Anti-Virus software which can
be very good but you have to be good when browsing the internet as it doesn’t appear
to block bad downloads.
- BitDefender Online Scanner - This is for online use only, it doesn’t require installation
on a computer and is brilliant as a one off scan now and again to ensure there
are no viruses or spyware on your computer.

- Notepad++ - Notepad plus plus is a brilliant little piece of software ideal for
writing HTML, PHP, Perl and more. Plus it’s FREE.

- Gimp - Gimp is a piece of software which is FREE to use and is ideal for creating
